I never imagined myself — I’m standing on a stage like this one tonight receiving an Impact Award. There’s so many women in my life that have impacted me in such a special way that it just blows my mind that maybe I could do the same for other people.

Young Miko has made waves in Latin music and the Billboard charts and now she is being presented with one of Billboard’s highest honors. American Express and Billboard are honored to present Young Miko with the Impact Award for her trailblazing representation of the LGBTQ+ community in the Latin American music scene. The Latin trap star performed her song “Curita” at Women In Music, where American Express continued its longstanding partnership with Billboard to support, celebrate and empower women and bring fans closer to the music they love.
