Warning: The following contains spoilers for the movie Paint.Owen Wilson stars in the new "fictional" comedy Paint, which follows a Vermont TV personality called Carl Nargle (Wilson), but while it has all the makings to be a classic, the movie has been slammed by critics. The comedy is heavily based on Bob Ross and how he becomes the inspirational and loveable host of the local show The Joy of Painting. It's an odd look at the painter, as it's weirdly whimsical but laid back simultaneously, just like Ross's painting lessons. And though the character/real-life person's life is as interesting as their art, the movie mostly fails to depict that.
