John Carpenter’s Halloween and Jordan Peele’s Us are two very different horror stories, but a theory found a possible link between them that could change Michael Myers’ story. Back in 1978, Carpenter introduced the world to slasher Michael Myers in Halloween, who after killing his older sister on Halloween night in 1963 at the age of six, was sent to Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. Michael never spoke again, and he escaped the hospital fifteen years later, returning to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, and going on a murder spree in which he targeted Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her friends.
