Why Jessica McNamee Didn’t Return For Meg 2 & What Happened To Lori

Blockbuster sequel Meg 2: The Trench brought back a handful of fan-favorite cast members from the first movie, but Jessica McNamee and her character Lori are nowhere to be seen. Meg 2: The Trench sees Jason Statham’s freelance megalodon hunter Jonas Taylor springing back into action when an illegal deep sea drilling operation unleashes a ruthless pack of megs. While the sequel brings back a bunch of familiar faces from the first film, from Cliff Curtis’ “straight man” Mac to Page Kennedy’s comic relief character DJ, Jonas’ ex-wife Lori is missing from the cast.
