Why Isn’t Ryan Gosling Starring In The Wolf Man Movie Anymore? (& What He’s In Next)

Ryan Gosling was at one point expected to star in the upcoming The Wolf Man movie, but he has since exited that film. The Wolf Man is a long-gestating project that has gone through many iterations since being announced in 2020. The original Universal The Wolf Man movie is the quintessential werewolf movie, and every adaptation of the mythical monster, whether it's in Buffy the Vampire Slayer or the MCU, uses that character as its basis. There was an unsuccessful 2010 reboot of the film starring Benicio del Toro, and now The Wolf Man is returning.
