Jaws is one of those classic movie masterpieces where it's easy to overlook the disappointing sequels that followed, but Jaws 2 has its merits, including some appealing filming locations on display. The follow-up to Steven Spielberg's pioneering summer blockbuster arrived three years later, in 1978, without the involvement of the original movie's director. Still, Jaws 2 managed to retain some of the first film's cast, one of its screenwriters, and composer John Williams, which built enough excitement that the movie became the highest-grossing sequel of all time, at least temporarily.
