The Despicable Me franchise is back with another adventure for Gru and the Minions, and there are different options for where to watch Despicable Me 4. Illumination’s popular animated franchise began in 2010 as audiences were introduced to Steve Carell as the supervillain Gru and his army of Minions. Over the course of the prior movies, he’s transformed into the hero, loving husband, and caring father he is when Despicable Me 4 begins. The 2024 film follows Gru and his family as they cross paths with a major new villain, Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell).
