Wayne’s World breakout star, Tia Carrere, has had an illustrious career since starring in the 1992 comedy. Waynes World follows Wayne and his best friend Garth, as they host a popular TV show in his basement that gets noticed by a TV network executive. Waynes World was a huge success when it premiered. The movie, which only had a budget of $20 million, ended up being a huge success and making $183.1 million at the box office (via Box Office Mojo). The sequel, however, Waynes World 2, did not perform as well as the first movie.
