The new LeBron James biopic movie Shooting Stars depicts the life of the basketball phenom before his rise to NBA stardom. The new movie documents LeBron's experience as a young adult with his high school basketball team at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. Shooting Stars is based on a 2009 autobiography of the same name written by James and Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Lights. The film portrays the real-life story of how LeBron and his four greatest teammates, called "the Fab Five," dominated on the basketball court through chemistry, inspiration, and friendship and eventually became the highest-rated team in the country. Shooting Stars is streaming exclusively on Peacock.
