Though audiences waited over 15 years for the first sequel, a new Super Troopers 3 update could see the next movie coming even sooner. The comedy franchise first launched with 2001's Super Troopers revolving around a group of pranskter Vermont state troopers who tried to solve a murder in order to save their station from being shut down. A modest box office hit, the film became a cult classic on home media, leading to crowdsourcing helping Super Troopers 2 getting off the ground in 2015 and hitting theaters in 2018.
