Alicia’s theory in Fear the Walking Dead may sound far-fetched, but evidence for it being true goes all the way back to The Walking Dead’s very first zombie. For most of The Walking Dead and its spinoffs, the main villains were humans who wanted to recreate the world in their own image. They were deadlier than anything else in the post-apocalyptic world. That is not to say the walkers were not frightening, because when a hoard of them descended on a community, it could destroy it quickly and there was rarely a chance for escape. However, when faced with a walker one on one, it was usually a quick and easy fight for the survivors.
