The creator of Breaking Bad has no interest in making a spinoff following Walt Jr., and this is probably a good thing. The AMC series managed five successful seasons and set up the spinoff prequel, Better Call Saul, which many consider even better than the parent series. Now that Jimmy McGill's story has concluded with season 6, audiences are looking ahead to what might come next for the Breaking Bad franchise, and a common idea is a spinoff led by RJ Mitte's character, Walt Jr. However, this may be far too depressing a premise and creator Vince Gilligan seems to agree.
