90 Day Fiancé Love in Paradise star De Juan VaLentine is finally revealing the real reason behind his split with Carlos Jiménez on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. VaLentine and Carlos appeared in season 2 of the Caribbean-themed reality TV show with four other couples to tell their unique love story. Los Angeles resident VaLentine had met Carlos from Colombia online during the pandemic and met each other for the first time during filming. One of the franchise's only same-sex male couples apart from Kenneth “Kenny” Niedermeier and Armando Rubio, Carlos and VaLentine got engaged in the finale and were all set to get married in season 3.
