Upcoming Sequel To Taylor Sheridan’s 2017 Movie Is Making A Mistake His Other Franchise Avoided

Taylor Sheridan's presence in Hollywood continues to grow, as Wind River 2 is happening, but the sequel is making a major mistake. Sheridan is now known for shepherding the Yellowstone franchise and many other TV shows for Paramount+, but the skilled writer and director started to leave his mark on the movie and TV industry years before. This came through his work on a variety of movies, including the 2017 crime thriller Wind River, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner. The movie was very favorably received, earning rave reviews and performing moderately well at the box office for an adult drama not connected to a franchise.
