Uncharted 2 has received a hopeful yet uncertain update, and will depend on Tom Holland’s increasingly busy schedule. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, the Uncharted movie was released in 2022, and starred Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. Following two treasure hunters in a race against a corrupt billionaire to find the famed lost treasure of the Magellan expedition, the movie received negative critical reviews, but was a box office success, grossing more than $407 million against a budget of $120 million, and sequel Uncharted 2 is in development.
