The National Hockey League revealed on Monday (Dec. 2) that its 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series has gotten even better, as Twenty One Pilots are set to take the stage for a special intermission performance.

The outdoor matchup between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Detroit Red Wings will take place at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, March 1. The game will be broadcast live at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN in the U.S. and on SN360, SN+ and TVAS2 in Canada.

Ohio is special for the musical duo, as both were born in Columbus. To celebrate Twenty One Pilots’ return to their hometown, Ohio State University students will have the opportunity to use their school email address to purchase discounted $20.99 tickets to the game via Ohio State Account Manager. The general public can purchase tickets to the 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at Ticketmaster.com. 

Twenty One Pilots are currently in the midst of a tour in support of their latest album, Clancy. The project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and flew in at No. 1 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Rock Albums charts with 143,000 equivalent album units, landing the biggest rock debut of the year at the time.

The duo wrapped the U.S. leg of the tour in October, before they headed to Australia in November. In April 2025, they will begin their European run of dates, starting in Hamberg, Germany, on April 7.
