Top Gun 2: All 6 Jet Fighter Planes That Appear In Maverick

Each one the planes in Top Gun: Maverick is an impressive feat of military aviation engineering, and the all of the jets in Top Gun 2 lend an amazing authenticity to the movie. Tom Cruise last played Captain Pete Mitchell over three decades ago, and a lot has changed in military aviation since the release of Tony Scotts 1986 cult classic Top Gun. The sequel continues to follow the adventures of the titular Maverick, a.k.a. Capt. Mitchell, a high-flying test pilot working for the Navy. Just like in Top Gun, Top Gun: Maverick‘s jets are just as important as the main cast.
