Tom Cruise’s Underrated 2017 Action Comedy Creeps Into Netflix Top 10

American Made, an action comedy with an underrated Tom Cruise performance, has just landed on Netflix's top 10 movies list. Released in 2017, American Made is based on real events, chronicling the exploits of American pilot Barry Seal, who eventually found himself serving as an informant for the DEA while smuggling drugs for the Medellín Cartel. The movie serves as a reunion for Cruise, who plays Seal, and director Doug Liman, with the pair previously working together on 2014's Edge of Tomorrow.
