SAVE UP TO 30%: Southwest is celebrating Prime Day by offering up to 30% off base fares on select flights on July 17 with code PRIME.

Vacation can be the highlight of the year for many of us. Heck, it can often be the highlight of the decade. But apparently not all of the best things in life are free, because a great vacation can cost some serious money. If you’re hoping to take a trip during the remainder of 2024, Southwest is here to save your bank account.

On July 17 only, take up to 30% off base fares on select Southwest Airlines flights for Prime Day by entering the promo code PRIME when searching for flights. But you’ll want to hurry to book because this deal expires tonight at 11:59 p.m. PT. Travel dates for the Southwest Prime Day deal vary by destination, so you might want to read the fine print before heading in to make a booking. All sale flights take off between Aug. 6 and Dec. 18 of this year.

Traveling with Southwest comes with some major perks. Instead of massive fees for checked baggage, Southwest offers two bags for free, so you won’t have to stress about packing everything you need into one tiny carry-on. The airline also doesn’t charge a cancellation fee, as long as you do so at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure.

The Southwest route map is extensive, covering many airports within the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii and international destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica.

Celebrate Prime Day with Southwest and book that next vacation before this 30% off deal expires tonight. After you’re booked, check out other Prime Day travel deals that extend to noise-cancelling headphones and Bluetooth trackers, so you can keep an eye on the location of your luggage. Happy travels!
