Tim Burton has addressed the prospect of reuniting with his frequent muse Johnny Depp in a new movie. The iconic director, whose debut feature was 1985’s Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, has used the Pirates of the Caribbean star in many of his productions, generally playing exaggerated characters that require a great deal of makeup. The eight-movie roster of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton collaborations includes 1990’s Edward Scissorhands, 2010’s Alice in Wonderland, 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 1994’s Ed Wood, and 2007’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, though Burton has not directed Depp since 2012’s Dark Shadows.
