Driving with a handbag can be a tricky. Especially if your bag falls on the floor or gets lost somewhere in the backseats while you’re on the road.

This is what makes Car Caché such a great invention. Made from PVC-coated mesh net, the purse holder creates a mini hammock to keep your handbag and other belongings nearby so you can focus on the road.

Summer travel is heating up, and if you’re in need of useful and affordable gear for your next road trip or everyday commute, Car Caché is on sale for $12 at Amazon ahead of Prime Day.

Founded in 2016 by Catherine Siefert, Car Caché was born out of sheer necessity. Siefert noticed that there weren’t enough places to store her handbag in the car while having it remain easily accessible, so she created a spot.

“For years [my son] has been playing in the mud and then he comes and puts his feet on my floor mat and I’m putting my purse right on top of where his feet were,” she explained in a video about the product.

The multi-use net will keep your purse in place while acting as a barrier between the front and backseat, which is another way to stop kids or pets from climbing up on the console and potentially distracting you while driving.

Car Caché measures 16 x 14 inches, making it suitable for small, medium and large purses and bags. Heading on a road trip? The car net organizer has an extra pocket that you can use to store chargers, snacks, toys, notebooks, umbrellas and other items that you and your passengers might need on the road.
