Peacock offically renewed The Traitors seasons 4 and 5 ahead of the season 3 premiere. The celebrity-fueled reality competition series was an instant hit in the U.S. when it debuted in January 2023. The franchise first launched in the Netherlands before being developed for the UK, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries. In the game, a few players are secretly chosen to be Traitors; their goal is to “murder” the other competitors, known as the Faithful. Survivor legend Cirie Fields won The Traitors season 1, while The Challenge‘s Chris “CT” Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella won The Traitors season 2.
