A new The Substance cosplay recreates Demi Moore’s Monstro Elisasue appearance from the end of the film, and the result is grotesque. Directed by Coralie Fargeat, The Substance stars Moore as Elisabeth, a fading celebrity who takes a black market drug in order to create a younger version of herself. The film, which stars Margaret Qualley as the young Elisabeth, aka Sue, earned glowing reviews from critics earlier this year, with particular praise levied at the film’s wild ending sequence, which sees Elisabeth transform into a monstrous beast known as Monstro Elisasue.
