New MCU fan art depicts the first line-up of the titular team in Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts going head-to-head with one powerful Marvel Comics superhero who's been rumored to be appearing in Phase 6. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige officially announced the development of the MCU's Thunderbolts project in July 2022, and announced the line-up of the team's first iteration that September. Thunderbolts will forge Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, David Harbour's Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost, Wyatt Russell's US Agent and Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster into a new MCU team, working under the watchful eye of Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the Director of the MCU's CIA.
