Netflix's epic show about the British royal family, The Crown, has a problem that will be even worse in the upcoming season 6. This exploration of the British House of Windsor has been massively popular since the first season dropped. The first few seasons focused on historical events around the young Queen Elizabeth. The most controversial drama was that of Princess Margaret’s doomed relationship with the Townsend in the early 1950s. Since these events took place more than 60 years in the past, it felt less prurient than the exploration of Charles and Diana. However, from season 4 on, The Crown left the post-war period behind starting in season 4.
