While The Conners season 6, episode 3 did feature the exit of a major Roseanne character, the spinoff wasted a great opportunity to end this character's storyline properly. Bev has been through a lot throughout Roseanne and The Conners. Roseanne and Jackie’s mother saw her daughters weather innumerable money woes, career struggles, parenting issues, and in Jackie’s case, failed romantic relationships. Bev was never much of a support to her daughters, offering little more than a sardonic insult whenever they came to her for advice. However, after Roseanne's death, her attitude changed in the later seasons of The Conners.
