The Boogeyman follows Sadie Harper and her younger sister, Sawyer, as they mourn the loss of their mother. The father, Will, is a therapist still reeling from this tragedy and stuck in his own grief. When a new patient shows up at their house pleading for help, Will hesitantly invites him, and unknowingly, a demonic entity, into the home. This horrifying entity latches onto the family, fed by their suffering, as it infests their minds with fear and turmoil.
