The MyFaction mode returns to WWE 2K23, upgraded significantly from its predecessor in WWE 2K22, but several of its systems incentivize spending real-world money despite there being ways to play without breaking out any cash. Players that participate in myFaction can build rosters of their favorite wrestlers through cards of different rarities, each with limited contracts. As a result, players need to keep collecting new cards to replace ones that use up their contracts, which may seem overwhelming to do without spending money on series packs for large bundles of wrestlers at once.
