The Batman 2‘s new delay ensures that the anticipated DC movies will break a 59-year-old Dark Knight sequel trend. The Batman showed the world that Robert Pattinson was a great choice for Bruce Wayne. With positive reviews and $772.3 million worldwide, the movie started a new shared universe. After The Penguin‘s successful run on HBO made fans more excited about future DC movies in The Batman franchise, 2024 had a final update reserved for the awaited The Batman 2, as the sequel suffered a major delay.
