The 2025 Oscars Race Officially Has Two More Major Contenders Thanks To A24

A24 has set release dates for Queer and The Brutalist in late 2024 at the height of awards season which will make them both eligible for Oscar nominations in 2025. Awards season is still a couple of months away, but the 2025 Oscars race is already starting to heat up. Theres a lot of buzz around Ridley Scotts Gladiator II, Steve McQueens World War II drama Blitz, and James Mangolds Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, and Jacques Audiards Emilia Prez and Pedro Almodvars The Room Next Door are getting some international attention.
