Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour fell short of reaching a $100 million opening at the weekend box office. The concert movie, directed by Sam Wrench, had one of the highest-grossing ticket pre-sales of all time ahead of its October 13 release, on par with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Before its release, its pre-sales nearly reached $100 million, setting it as the highest-grossing concert movie of all time.
