Target Hops On the Bolero Trend With Cozy Cropped Look (And It’s Just $30)

Fashion from the past has been taking over style trends with the ’90s and Y2K dominating celebrity and influencer outfits. While kitschy chunky rings have been seen on musicians like Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter and Megan Thee Stallion, another 1990s look has been making its way into artist outfits: bolero tops.

The layering piece is traditionally an exaggerated short jacket tbat comes with long or short sleeves. There are various designs, such as dressier versions in the form of a tailored jacket, or you can keep things strictly cozy with sweatshirt styles. Artists have also been spotted showing off the trend including Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Cyndi Lauper, Rita Ora and LE SSERAFIM during their first-ever Coachella performance.

To help you hop on the trend yourself, Target has dropped their own version of a bolero top in the form of a cropped sweatshirt — and it’s currently on sale for $30.

Target’s latest bolero sweatshirt comes with long sleeves that’s ideal for throwing on as a quick layer without taking away from your statement top. The style is made from a soft polyester material that aims to be lightweight for all-day wear. You can easily step up your yoga outfits with this cropped look to help you warm up faster as you start your flow. Or it’s great as a layering piece for cool summer nights.

Choose from two simple shades — black and gray — and sizes XS-2XL, making it flattering for practically any body shape. Rather than pick up your oversized hoodie, this bolero sweatshirt will add a sporty chic vibe with its rounded edges and oversized, baggy sleeves for a more loose and relaxed feel.

Already the white shade is out of stock and sizes are quickly selling out as well, which means if you want to elevate your athleisure, you’ll want to add this to your cart sooner rather than later.
