While You Like It Darkers Cujo sequel is already a follow-up to a Stephen King story, it made me wish for a sequel to another one of the authors underrated horror novels. Not all of Stephen Kings books need to be revisited, but I think many of the authors stories deserve an update. The writer himself seems to agree with me on this point, judging by his latest collection. The short story collection You Like It Darker features a direct sequel to Cujo, a story similar to Kings 1987 novel The Tommyknockers, and a Flannery OConnor short story retelling.
