Stephen King is writing a sequel to Black House. The Talisman and its sequel, Black House, were co-written by Peter Straub, and respectively published in 1984 and 2001. Straub later passed away in 2022. In 2024, Stephen King teased a new story, sharing on X/Twitter that he was “back in Mid-World…and the Territories.” With Mid-World being from The Dark Tower books and the Territories being a fantastical universe from The Talisman books, it was unclear whether the upcoming story would be more connected to The Dark Tower or The Talisman.
