Starkiller’s Star Wars Origin Created A Massive Legends Plot Hole – But Canon’s Fixed It

Starkiller, the protagonist of the Star Wars Legends-era video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, created a continuity error in the Legends timeline that the modern Star Wars canon avoided. Starkiller is exclusive to the Legends continuity, which ceased to be the official Star Wars canon in 2014 when the franchise underwent a partial reboot. Despite existing for almost 40 years, Legends managed to keep a relatively tidy timeline, fixing inevitable continuity issues with retcons and ensuring that all materials from Star Wars books, comics, and video games to the saga movies themselves were consistent with each other.
