Star Wars Movie Title Announced

Lucasfilm has finally announced that the December 2025 Star Wars movie is x. The last few years have seen Star Wars transform into a trailblazing transmedia franchise, with an ever-expanding number of Disney+ TV shows such as The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka. The Star Wars movies, however, have been on hiatus since the end of the sequel trilogy and the shutdown of the anthology projects. Still, Lucasfilm reserved a release date of December 19, 2025, and there have been reports the studio intend to "ramp up" Star Wars movies. That naturally meant attendees to Star Wars Celebration 2023 expected an announcement.
