As the MonsterVerse continues to expand, Netflix has now unveiled the trailer for Skull Island, its animated King Kong show. The current iteration of Legendary's MonsterVerse began in 2014 with the release of Godzilla, which was then followed by Kong: Skull Island in 2017. After a direct Godzilla sequel and a movie in which the two kaijus go head-to-head, Skull Island is now set to be further explored in an anime series from Netflix.
