Meri, who was married to Kody from the early 1990s until 2022, spent over 30 years with her ex-husband and the plural family he created. While Meri was happy to be part of the plural marriage, she understood that expectations came with being the legal wife, and passed those over to Robyn Brown in 2014 when she legally married Kody.
