This article contains SPOILERS for Shooting Stars!Bringing the sports world back to the late 1990s and early 2000s, Shooting Stars has a nostalgic hit-filled soundtrack to score the touching story of Lebron James’ high school basketball team. Shooting Stars is based on the true story of four-time NBA champion Lebron James’ youth basketball team (the Shooting Stars) and his upbringing with his “Fab Five” teammates Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee, Sian Cotton, and Romeo Travis in Akron, Ohio. The story follows Lebron James’ middle school years to the time leading up to his NBA drafting in 2003, depicting his quick rise from humble beginnings to massive stardom as a teenager.
