Shantel VanSanten got her start in the entertainment industry as a model, but most of her best movies and TV shows lean toward dramas. VanSanten began modeling at 15 years old and landed her first acting role in 1999 – providing the English dub for a character in the Japanese series Street Angel Kurumi. Despite that, VanSanten did not start acting regularly until 2005 and has not slowed down since.
