Like a Dragon: Yakuza is bringing the beloved video game series to Prime Video, and the stars are already promising a fascinating adaptation. Based loosely on the plot of 2005’s Yakuza and the subsequent 2016 remake, Like a Dragon: Yakuza follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu and his fall (and rise) within the Japanese underworld. Told between 1995 and 2005, the story highlights the trajectory of his old friend turned rising member of the Yakuza, Akira Nishikiyama. Screen Rant was at San Diego Comic-Con, where the series made some exciting casting announcements and released a teaser for the show.
