Schmigadoon! Season 2’s Parody Plot Hints At The Killer’s Identity

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Schmigadoon! season 2, episodes 1 & 2.The Schmigadoon! season 2 premiere ended with a shocking murder and while the true killer has yet to be revealed, the Schmicago parody provides hints as to who killed Elsie. Schmigadoon! season 1 was set in an idyllic small town seemingly free of crime and corruption but full of parodies of the Golden Age musicals of the 1940s and 1950s. Schmigadoon! season 2 brings the lead couple Josh and Melissa back to the musical world, but Schmigadoon has been replaced with Schmicago and the seedy world of the musicals in the era that followed.
