Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies perfectly sets up the classic musical Grease, but it also makes some big changes to Rydell High. Set at Rydell High four years prior to the events of Grease, Rise Of The Pink Ladies tells the story of the origins of the titular group. Following a new cast of Grease characters, the original Pink Ladies have different goals than the Grease movie's Pink Ladies, with much of season 1 focused on main character Jane winning a student council election. Despite this, the Pink Ladies and T-Birds engage in the shenanigans expected of school delinquents, ensuring a smooth transition between the Grease prequel and movie.
