Rihanna’s Wore These $1,100 Bottega Veneta Sock Boots & They’re Almost Sold Out

Rihanna’s had fans doing a double take when she stepped out in New York over the weekend. The mother of two was spotted wearing what appeared to be socks on her feet, but they’re not socks, they’re designer boots from Bottega Veneta and currently flying off shelves, likely due to Rihanna’s power.

As of Thursday (May 23), the $1,100 Domenica Boot is almost out of stock on the Bottega Veneta website. The Domenica Boot, introduced in last year, is described as a knitted cotton boot with a “sock effect.”

The brand recommends keeping the shoes away from direct light, and filling them with tissue paper to maintain the shape.

Also, if the boots get wet, you’ll need to dry them immediately. You can clean them with a soft, dry cloth or brush, per Bottega Venetta.

Rihanna paired the shoe-socks with an Awake NY jacket, jogging pants and a baseball cap. Her $225 nylon pullover features white and blue detailing and a crown logo on the front.

And it’s not just her fashion (and newly blonde locks) that has been making headlines. The Grammy winner has been wracking up the frequent flyer miles lately. Last week, Rihanna traveled to China for a Fenty Beauty pop-up event in Shanghai. Last month, she traveled to London to promote her new Puma Creeper collection and in March, Rihanna flew to Junagadh, India where she performed at the wedding of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, son of billionaire businessman, Mukesh Ambani. The performance marked her first full concert in eight years.

In other Fenty news, Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty are kicking off Memorial Day weekend early with must-shop sales on both sites. Shoppers can save up to 70% off at Savage x Fenty and up to 60% off select Fenty Beauty products.
