"That Is My Hope Of All Hopes": Sonic 3’s Jim Carrey Return Addressed By Star

As development continues on the threequel, Ben Schwartz is addressing the chances of Sonic the Hedgehog 3's Jim Carrey return. The two-time Golden Globe winner has starred in the movies based on SEGA's iconic video games as Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, the mad scientist initially tasked by the government to investigate Sonic's existence on Earth, only to be revealed to be keen to use his powers to take over the world. Just prior to Sonic the Hedgehog 2's release, Carrey announced he was eyeing retirement after the sequel.
