Sicario star Emily Blunt shares her honest thoughts regarding Sicario 3's chances. Released in 2015, the first film sees Blunt playing FBI agent Kate Macer as she joins a government task force operating in the gray areas of the law to fight Mexican drug cartel activity. The success of Denis Villeneuve's first film resulted in a sequel, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, getting made with director Stefano Sollima at the helm, but the sequel didn't fare as well critically or commercially, and a third film, which could be titled Sicario: Capos, has floundered in development hell ever since.
