The artist behind Boruto, Mikio Ikemoto, has been a part of the Naruto franchise for more than a decade. His contributions as Masashi Kishimoto’s assistant tend to get overlooked, as he was not the main artist of the project at the time. Nevertheless, an interview published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine with both Kishimoto and Ikemoto proved that Boruto’s main artist has been crucial to the franchise since the beginning.
