One Pokmon fan has found a relatively fast way to acquire the shiny versions of every generation’s starter Pokmon. Ever since the series’ second generation with Pokmon Gold and Silver, which introduced a red Gyarados, players have been able to catch shinies, which are essentially color variants. While there’s no guarantee over stats, shinies do tend to have better Individual Values (IVs) on average, especially in earlier generations.
