There is a very straightforward Easter egg in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that was teasing the existence of Legends: Z-A long before its official announcement. Legends: Arceus, released in 2022, was the first of the mainline titles to deviate from the core gameplay style of the franchise and offer a different approach. While it still focuses on catching monsters and using them in battle, obtaining them in nature is quite different, as the game takes on an action RPG system. Now, the game is getting something of a sequence with the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set to arrive in 2025.
