The co-showrunner of Perry Mason offers an update on season 3 after that big finale. In the second installment of the HBO drama, which is based on the character created by Erle Stanley Gardner, and which takes place in the 1930s, Matthews Rhys returns in the title role. Consisting of eight episodes, Perry Mason season 2 focuses on the death of a notable society figure. When the district attorney places the blame on the most obvious and ostracized suspects, Mason and his team work together and slowly uncover a wide-reaching conspiracy.
